Central Pa. woman charged after puppies die from being left in the sun: state police
An Adams County woman was accused of leaving puppies outside in the heat earlier last month, killing several, the Pennsylvania State Police said.
State Police said they were called to a house on Frederick Pike’s 1000 block in Germany on July 17 after receiving reports of puppies barking outside in the heat.
According to the state police, several of the puppies died because they were too long in the sun and in the heat.
Tanya Greene, 41, from Littlestown, was then charged with animal cruelty, state police said. Online recordings of her indictment and her next court appearance were not immediately available.
