Beaconsfield: New dog grooming business

Plans for a new dog grooming business were presented to the council.

Ms. Emma Spencer of BlueBone filed a change of use request for Woodcroft House, 6 Bearswood End, Beaconsfield.

In the plans, the “conversion of an outbuilding into a dog grooming company” is described in detail.

Ms. Spencer holds a City & Guilds Level 3 Dog Groomer diploma and another diploma in dog behavior, according to council documents.

“The owners don’t stay on the premises while their dog is being groomed,” she adds. “At no time is more than one dog cared for.

“No more than four dogs are groomed a day, and most days there will be fewer.”

The opening times are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., if approved.

The planning officers now decide what will become of the application.
